As Dusk hugged him, Icarus blushed strongly. "W-whoa...Uh, you're welcome, I guess...", he said. He couldn't push Dusk out of him, it would be rude. 'Guess I'll need to wait until he stops hugging me...'

Meanwhile, on the dead side of Feila...

"Hah, seems like Icarus found an apprentice. Although it seems that they are more like friends."

"..."

"Christina, what do you think?"

"I find the little guy cute..."

Dusk, after about...twenty seconds, relized it and blushed. He slowly let go of Icarus and stood in front of him, still blushing.

"Uh...um...thanks again Icarus.", he said, trying to smile through his blush.

He found himself not knowing what to say. So he brought his hand up and with no trouble at all, managed to bring back the ball of light. After doing it the first time, he now knew what to think of to do it. He smiled and was happy that he could still do it He wanted to see him again so he decided to tell him.

"Um, I hope to see you again Icarus. I live in the alley behind the pub in town. I'm usually there at night. Perhaps you could visit me?", he asked shyly.

By now, it would probably hit Icarus. Dusk was only wearing dirty torn shorts. He looked like he hadn't bathed in about a month, and from what Dusk just said. Most likly, Icarus would realize Dusk's poverty now. But Dusk smiled when he said it. He wasn't asshamed of it.

Icarus noticed Dusk's appearence. He really didn't care if someone was rich or poor, as long as he/she had a good heart. "Sure, I don't mind at all!", he felt more confident in talking.

But he couldn't leave Silvia alone back at the shrine... he stayed by her side most of the time, and he still does. "Um...you mind if I bring someone along?", he asked. Sure, Silvia didn't need to ALWAYS stay by Icarus side, but she would feel lonely...

Dusk let the light ball fade. He pondered it then he wondered why he was pondering it. The more friends he made the better.

"Really, that sounds great.", he said.

He didnt know what to think. He was so happy. He had a new friend. Actually, he had a friend period. If you didn't count Frank. Icarus may not no it, but he gave him more than just the gift of magic.

Now he really didn't know what to say. All he could do was stand there and blush.

"Oh, okay then", he said. He stood up and looked at Dusk, "I hope to see you again, little guy", he pet Dusk sightly on the head. Then he started walking away, "I'll see you later this day. Bye!", he said waving his hand to Dusk.

Dusk blushed and watched him as he walked away. He had made a friend before that had left. The thing was, he wasn't feeling the same thing right now. It kinda was but different. Maybe he was going to be a great friend, or a best friend.

He waved one last time and decided he had been at the special place long enough. It wouldn't be special if he stayed to long. So he happily jogged back to town. When he got there he went straight to his alley and sat under his little wooden shelter. As soon as he got there, he started up the light again.

In no time, he was able to shrink it and make it grow to his will. He was able to get it to the size of a adult head now. And he used it to look behind objects in the alleyway. he was able to use it to find a ball he thought he lost.

Icarus walked through the streets, trying to find the alleyway Dusk mentioned. Alongside, was Silvia, looking at everything. Icarus felt someone using magic...it had to be him. He approached the alleyway and slowly walked through it, Silvia following right behind. Then he found Dusk, searching for things on other objects. "Hey Dusk", he said. "Aw, he's cute...", Silvia said.

Dusk heard people coming down the alley he stayed at. This never happened. He looked up, and lost his concentration. Making the ball of light vanish. But he still noticed who it was.

"Icarus", he said happily. He ran over and hugged his waist. Then he looked up at him. "You came", he said. Then he looked over to Icaruses friend and blushed. "And, this is your friend Silvia?", he asked.

He suddenly realized that he wasn't sure what they could do while they were here. He didn't have anything. All he could do was talk really. And given his shy nature, he wouldn't be vey good with that.
