Herbert Blackrain (Medieval & Age of Drive-by Shootings)

Appearance:
Herbert is a six foot tall kangaroo with a muscular build. His blonde hair is long, dirty and unkempt, while his fur is a dark brown colour, in the same condition, the tips of his ears and tail black. He has the scar from a deep cut across his chest, one down his back, just right of his spine, and another one on his shin. In terms of clothing, he generally wears sandals, a brown cloak, with a rope belt and the hood up.

History:
Herbert was one of eight children born into the noble Blackrain family by Gwendolyn Blackrain. At a young age he, and his brothers, began the training knights go through. While not a master with a bow, or sword, he had a Jack of all trades status. At the age of 13 he began teaching himself how to sneak and steal, and at 15 he was able to get into a guild of thieves. He secretly began recruiting people to overthrow his father, Julius Blackrain, so that he could take power.

Julius, who has always been wary of Herbert, ordered the execution of him and all potential allies when he heard of the plot to take power. Luckily for Herbert, his sister warned him of the execution order, and he was able to sneak out of town and hide in the forest a few hours before the guards would’ve caught him. He hid in the forest for a few weeks, robbing anyone unfortunate enough to be passing through it. After two weeks of hiding in the forest he finds someone he knew from the thief’s guild, whose body was covered in cuts, bruises, and a lot of her own blood. She warns him not to go back to the town after telling him about how they will be executing anyone suspected to be in alliance with him the next day.

After finding somewhere safe for her, he sneaks back into town, disguised as a monk, to find that the guy in charge of the thieves guild was about to be hung. Using a throwing knife he was able to cut the rope, and prevent the guy from being executed. Although when he did, the guards were alerted to his presence. Due to poor planning, and his sword being so rusted it was useless for combat, the guards were able to defeat and capture him easily, the battle leaving him with his scars. He was to be executed in three days time.

The night before the execution, he breaks out of his cell, somehow finding a way to immobilize the guards. Using one of their uniforms he was able to sneak to the outskirts of the village. Deciding it’d be best not to be anywhere near the village, he heads for the Kingdom of Edwin.

Appearance:
Herbert’s physical build and fur colour are the same as they were for the medieval version, although he has black hair and well kept, but still long. His attire is now mostly composed of a black tank top, faded jeans, and fingerless black leather gloves.

History:
Herbert was born into the Blackrains, an upper class family with some relations to organized crime, by Rose Blackrain. Around the time he turned 18 he began visiting firing ranges, and becoming a better marksman. He’s also got into an organized crime family as a low level thug. Around the age of 20 they promoted him to hitman.
