Dusk bit his lower lip then replied to the question.

"I don't know. I've never thought it weird. Actually I like knowing that I have a name far more different than all the others.", he said. He never really gave much thought to his name. He did realize what he was named after. he never knew why. Nor did he ever know his real parents.

By now he was started to feel a little strange, like tired. The muscles in the stomach and been moving the whole time. But it still didn't seem to make sense on why he was feeling...sleepy. He didn't really realize it though, with talking to Indrick and all.

“Names are important Dusk, they tell you a lot about someone before you even talk to them” This got Indrick wondering for a moment about his own name, now that he thought about it, why was he called Indrick, it was unique, but he was never quite sure what it meant. He looked up at the sky, his thoughts roaming for a minute. They drifited over guilt and acceptanc.
“Dusk, did you have a dream of what you wanted in your future?” It was the last question Indrick could think of to ask the boy, he wasn’t sure what else he could ask. Maybe after that if the kid was still alive he’d tell him a story. A nice one.

Dusk heard the question. And again, he was clueless. He never went about his day to day thinking of the future, he was more of a now kinda person. But still he tried to think of things he liked to do.

"I...I...", he stuttered. He seemed to be haveing trouble speaking. And there was a reason why. He didn't know it, but he was just about out of oxygen to breath. "Indrick...", he said weakly. Then his body relaxed as his eyes slowly closed. No oxygen meaning no energy. He limply laid. Finally going unconsious.

And he was still.

“Dusk? Dusk?” Indrick didn’t receive a response, he even tried poking his stomach, nothing, nada, nought. No replies. He sighed, and then had the knot in his throat again, he’d killed the kid, he’d mercilessly devoured him to satisfy his own hunger, and he wished he would die. Or that he could undo what he’d done. But death was death, and Indrick’s only consolation was that the boy’s spirit was most likely in a better place now instead of being here, or in his belly.

Indrick too felt sleepy, but for very different reasons, one, his head was starting to hurt again with vengeance, and he was having that satisfied drowsiness set in that one often had after eating a very large meal. So curling up on the blanket that Dusk had owned Indrick dozed off. It wasn’t easy at first as he rolled this way and that, but eventually he dozed off for several hours.

Finally, during that time, Dusk passed.

Up above the gods were watching.

"Ah, so it did happen", one said.
"Yeah, it seemed making him mortal would make that happen".
"Well big man told us if it did to keep him alive no matter how many times it took."
"How'd he die"
"He was eaten"
"I say we kill what ate it"
"No, he was willingly eaten. I'll explain later. Besides, I think I remember seeing that this wolf was a part of destiny Dusk needs to fufill"
"So what now, your in charge of it"
"hmm..I'm going keep his spirit there for a while...then in time I'll fully revive him"

And so it was done

Dusk's spirit appeared nest to the wolf. It was see through and had on a white robe, but still loked the same. And not much see through.
