I'm not sure what kind of data loses we're going to see when the official forum is back up and running. I have PDF backups of the following threads, courtesy of Flickerfinger. Flickerfinger might have more.

That's great! I think we've lost all of the threads. I'm not sure. But the more data we can get from everyone the better.

By the way, I was worried you wouldn't be rejoining us, because I couldn't find your e-mail and didn't know if anyone had it. Good to see you back with us.

The more saved, the better. I found tons of threads cached on Google.

Anyone want a particular role-play or character saved? I may not be able to get all of the pages of a role-play, but a few pages are better than nothing. I think I can pretty much guarantee most of the character biographies. I've already saved a lot of the culture, politics, government, etcetera, you know big stuff, and I've started to save some of the role-playing threads and characters, namely mine, JamesG's, and JustinG's. If you have a request, leave it here, or you're welcome to save something yourself. I recommend saving the entire webpage by right-clicking the cached website and selecting "Save Page As...", as we may be able to directly restore some of these threads with the source code. I can't make any promises on that, though. If worse comes to worse, we can always repost threads with the text.

That's funny. I tried looking through google's cache yesterday but all I could find were the main page and other pages at a depth of one link. Looks like I wasn't being specific enough! Arrival at the Unseen University is cached right up to page 3!... out of 6.

I will be saving backups of the entire site minus the drawing board and password protected areas every weekend for the forseeable future. If this kind of thing ever happens again, our hard work will not be lost, or at least much less of it.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication to Feila, Sade. It is much appreciated, very much so. With the strong community that Feila has, we will be able to recover and maintain ourselves with no problem. It is the userbase of a forum that makes a forum, after all.

Hmm, then the website copier might be fouling up my connection or tripping some kind of security mechanism.
