Todd the Fox was very uncomfortable. He did not like being cramped in a carriage with two other people. His shoulder was going into the wall.

He mumbled under his breath, cursing the bastard that sat next to him. The fellow had rudely turned around to speak to the other gentleman in the carriage, and his elbow was thrown into the fox's face. This was not a good thing.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, the horses pulled the buggy into town. It was not a small, quaint village, but it wasn't a huge, bustling city, either. Something in between. One couldn't quite pinpoint a word for it.

The dirt roads turned to cobblestones, and the horses trampled on. Their hooves clapped against the stonework, making raucous that had become all too familiar to the fox. He prayed for the end. And then, for what seemed to be a divine gift from the gods, the carriage stopped.

First, the two other men moved out, and then at last Todd could make his escape. Damn, had it been stuffy in there! He felt suffocated. Taking a deep, refreshing breath of fresh air felt like heaven itself. Business could wait, he reasoned, as relief tempted away from his duties. He moved onto the nearest tavern.

The trip was more long-winded than he would have hoped for after such a long journey, but the tavern was anyway found and invaded. He stepped in, swinging the door ahead and away from him. The atmosphere was lowly lit, though, the noise level of people speaking and moving about within was anything but low. What, was it a holiday or something? He rose an eyebrow in suspicion, as if some cruel, sadistic demon were plotting against him. Why? Why so many people? He was tired of people!

Damn buggy.

He let out a loud and unhappy sigh, walking up to the counter.

"Some service?" He bargained.

"Food or boarding?" The lady cougar asked.

"Just some food for now." He didn't feel like thinking too hard.

"Alright, just have a seat and I'll get with you."

He moved to one of the tables. None were empty. Blast. He was forced to sit with someone, a person of who he did not know. Damn his luck and all the rest of these fools.

Someone laughed, and a mug went flying across the room. He ducked, but he hadn't really needed to. It clattered across the floor and skid to a stop. The small contents had been flung around floor... and a little lap on his face.

He growled.

They laughed.

Ryuu smiled as he watched the mug fall to the floor."Ahh looks like things are picking up in here."the silver fox muttered to himself. He took his mug into his hand and drank deeply, a look of distaste on is face.The mead is a bit sour today, he thought to himself.

He watched as the bar croud steadly grew louder.That is until someone tapped his shoulder.The fox whipped around and grabbed his dagger by the hilt."Are you Ryuu?" the large bull asked."Depends on whos asking"The fox growled.The bull took his Short sword out and layed it onto the table, pointed at the fox.
"Who are you, and what do you want from me?" Ryuu asked.

After Todd was finished being Todd, he noticed some commotion at another table. Apparently, another fox had a bull by the horns... or something to that corny extent. He watched on in curiosity as the two bickered back and forth. What it was about, he had no idea. There was too much noise to distinguish what they were saying.

Ryuu had had enough."Look i dont care who you are or who you work for, i want you out of my face damn it."he said through gritted teeth.the bull frowned and picked Ryuu up by the scruff of his neck.
"Hey!What-the-hell!" he yelled.
"Look here runt, you are in no position to make threats," he said lifting his sword.Ryuu blinked at the sword, he began to worry.
"Look i dont know where it is ok?"

Leonal was sitting at the corner of the bar watching the commotion unfold. He was clearly uninterested, he just won a few games of Poker and got some money to spend. Leonal took a sip out of his rum. But perhaps it wouldn't hurt him to help out. The snow leopard stood up from his seat and walked slowly towards the bull. "So...uh? Whats all the fuss about?" He asked with a creepy smile on his face.

A kangaroo wearing the traditional monk clothing walked into the bar. He paid no attention to the goings on with the fox and bull as he walked past them. From his cloak he removed a feminine-looking velvet coin purse and emptied the contents, 10 gold coins, onto the counter. “As much ale as this will get.” He said to the closest bar wrench, before discarding the coin purse and looking back at the commotion to see what was going on.

“Perhaps he needs help.” The kangaroo thought to himself, reaching into his disguise for a throwing dagger. “No… I think I’ll see where this is going first.” He thought to himself again, keeping his paw on the throwing dagger, and turning back towards the bar.

The bull grinned at the leppord,"No everything is fine i was just leaving."he said tossing the fox to the ground. With a wide grin the bull left, pushing a group of monks out of his way as he went through the door.Ryuu meanwhile was rubbing his neck."Ugg damn bull, he just couldnt wait could he."he said standing up.He thanked the leppord and say down at the bar next to another fox.

Leonal stared at the bull as he was leaving and his shrugged shoulders confused at what just happened, he thought he would get in a fight with him or at least an argument of some sort. Leonel took a seat by the fox. "Another rum please." He said to the bartender who arrived moments later with another fresh cup of rum. "So what was that all about that bull looked like he was gonna beat your bloody senses." Leonel asked the fox. "Cause you know what they say you mess with a bull you get the horns."

Herbert watched as the bull left the tavern. "He's big, might be useful for taking out guards. Although, judging from the way he backed down, I'm assuming he's something of a wuss. I don't think he's worth persuing to try and recruit." Herbert thought to himself. After a bar wrench had put one of the mugs of ale he paid for on the table he picked it up. He tried to blend in with the crowd as he moved over near where Leonal and Ryuu are while trying to look discrete. Taking a sip of the ale he began listening to the conversation.
