A) Vines are commonly found on coats of arms, and stand for growth and development.
B) The sword is a symbol of power, justice, and protection against evil. The axe is a symbol of the authority to execute.
C) The wisdom knot shown on the shield is a symbol of wisdom, ingenuity, intelligence, and patience. The shield itself is a symbol of protection.
D) The weasel embodies ferocity, determination, and willpower.
E) The banner in a coat of arms is usually used to state something profound and vague. This banner has been used merely to state the name of the nation. |
