The Google caches are amazing. I have been able to find almost every singe page that was on the original forum. I now have tons of information concerning the forum on my harddrive, and, for the most part, all that I need to do is simply copy and paste. As an additional plus, the userbase of Feila, which has always been a dedicated and close bunch, has been steadily re-registering on this temporary forum -- All the contents of which will be painlessly transferred to the new server. And everyone is as optimistic as always. It's almost like nothing happened at all.

This might sound quirky, but I'm actually thankful that we've had to restore the forum from the ground-up. There were a lot of things that needed revision, and it's allowed me to re-analyze each thread that was on the original forum. If the incident hadn't occurred, I wouldn't have had the motivation to do so much revising, but all of this good, hard work has put me into the serious mood to improve Feila better than it was before.

Looking through all of these old threads that I thought I'd never read again, I've gotten so many good ideas. It's like a teacher giving you a book to read for an assignment. At first you think that it's going to suck, but then you realize just how great it is that you got the chance to read the book, and wonder what would have happened if your teacher had never forced you to read the book. I may sound off my rocker, but this has actually been a great experience for me. I was starting to get a little rusty on the original forum and was having trouble finding my spark again. Thankfully, this has revived my hardcore interest in the forum.

So look forward to all kinds of new information. I will at first be focusing on restoring the forum to its original state, but after that I plan to use the data I've accumulated from fine-combing the forum, and put it to good use. It's been an easy ride, a lot easier than I thought something like this would ever be.

To a Great Future,
His Most Peachy,
Todd the Fox

I never realized that Feila was that popular, either. I mean, I knew that the forum was very active and getting up there in the furry community, but I didn't think that we were well-known enough for something like this to happen. It's actually flattering if you think about it. Someone put a lot of work into trying to wipe us out. It sorta makes you feel good. It's like getting to be a celebrity and receiving your first hate mail. At the outset, it may be a little bit disheartening, but after a while you start to think of it as fan mail. Someone actually cared enough about you to write you a long letter.

While I think the incident was tragic and hardly flattering, I secretly found it... I guess "refreshing" would be the best word. It offered a change of pace, a momentary distraction from the constant pressure to post that I've always felt, and a chance to contribute to the community in a way that was previously impossible.

I am tempted to alert the furry community to the events that transpired here. This is highly upsetting to me since I am pretty much pro-everything that isn't gore/blood/guts/etc...

I am quite literally almost physically ill just from the picture, and the thought that someone would do this just pushes me beyond that.
