Leonal was standing behind a counter in his old car repair shop, he was treating a customer who had problems with his brakes. "Hey, you might want to take it easy on the brakes next time, else you probably won't be here next time." He said to the customer. "Don't wory won't happen again." the customer said and smiled and left. Leonal was tired and lazy, he approached the door and flipped the Open sign to read Closed. He wiped off the oil on his hands but was interrupted by a phone call.

"Leonal's Repair Shop, were closed now-" Leonal said but was cut off. "Cut the crap Leonal we need to talk meet me at the cafe on the corner of Yorkshire and Fern at 8:00pm today. Ill be there with a green baseball hat." The voice on the other end said. "Who is this?" Leonal asked but the one on the other end hung up. Leonal sighed he didn't get these calls to often, he might as well go nothing better to do.

Leonal cleaned the oil off of him and got one of his pistols out of his toolbox and hid it under his orange vest. He didn't think he woul need it but it was precautinary. Leonal then exited the repair shop.

There are the sort of people who, for all intents and purposes, are bystanders, in spite of all evidence to the contrary.

The appearence of the pair in the cafe would have elicited comment in a lot of places. The smaller of the two, a mouse/ jackrabbit hybrid, would attract attention anywhere. He was dressed causally, t-shirt and jeans, and was currently busy eating a sandwhich. The larger of the two was a red wolf, dressed in a suit, with the watchful eye of a bodyguard. most would have assumed that he was, and that the hybrid was his employer. In poitnof fact, the two were just friends. The full truth about both of them was something that would strain credulity, until you saw the single fang each had, the hybrid on the left side of his mouth , and the wolf on the right.

Vaughan, the wolf, looked around. In the crowd at the cafe, the pair actually blended in rather well. "Conrad, I have a bad feeling about this."
Cnrad, the hybrid, just shrugged. "When don't you? We're just getting something to eat. What you should be worried about is where our next meal will come from. I have no ideas."
Vaughan smirked. "Yeah, that's why I have no worries on that front. But I'm serious. Something's about to happen." The wolf's instincts led him to eye up a new arrival. There ware grease stains on his clothes, and Vaughan didn't think he looked like anything more than a small-timer, if anything. Still, he trusted his instincts as much as his adopted brother Morrisey trusted his instruments.

Leonal entered the cafe and studied his surroundings he saw a grey wolf at the back left corner with a green baseball cap. There He is Leonal thought to himself he first went to the counter to order some coffee and walked casually towards the wolf. "What do you wan-" Leonal started but got interrupted. "Your gun please." Said the wolf in a low whisper.' How the hell did he know!Leonal thought to himself surprised. Leonal first looked around the cafe to see if anyone was watching and slid his pistol across the table. "Thank you, Im from the FBI and would want to ask you a few questions." The wolf said. "Lets just cut to the chase you know both of use don't have time for "questions" and im pretty damn sure your not here to ask me questions." Leonal said, he knew a bit how the FBI worked. He didn't come to ask a few questions he knew the procedure if they wanted questions they would have either arrested him or went to his repair shop.

"So you probably have an idea of what we will ask of you?" The wolf asked Leonal. "A bit..." leonal said back to him. "I have a bit of a job for you and decided your the perfect person for it." The wolf asked with a grin on his face. "Sorry, but Im no longer working for the police, i've been discharged a few months back an-" Leonal was once again cut off. "We know that, underneath the table is a brown suitcase. I want you to take it and bring it to the Owl at the nearest Subway station, you'll get further instructions there. And whatever you do, do not open the suitcase." The wolf said with a bigger grin he gave leonal his pistol back and walked out of the cafe. Im fed up with this crap... Leonal thought to himself taking a drink out of his coffee. These people sometimes creep me out...

Vaughan and Conrad weren't quite close enough to hear what was said, but the pistol did not escape the wolf's notice, and Conrad could see a suitcase underneath the table. He leaned over to Vaughan.
"Hmm, I think that something dark and secret is being planned."
Vaughan rolled his eyes. "I don't suppose it occured to you that it ought to be kept secret?"
Conrad shrugged. "We owe it to ourselves, and to our duties as citizens, to find out if it's on the up-and-up. Personally, I don't think so. Think we can shadow him?"
Vaughan sighed, but he had to admit, Conrad had a point. They were likely the only ones here at this cafe, which a was a designated "neutral zone" by Edwin's underworld, who even cared about such stuff as law and order.
"Wait until he leaves. He came here on foot, we can follow in the car."
Conrad smiled, sat back, and finished his sandwhich.

Leonal was still sitting at his table thinking about what just happened. He finished his coffee and grabbed the suitcase from under the table. Time to get going now he thought to himslef. Personally Leonal would rather relax at home and watch a movie, but from the looks of it that won't be happening anytime soon. As Leonal left he passed the mouse/jackrabbit and the red wolf making eye contact with the both of them. What an odd pair Leonal Thought to himself.

Leonal left the cafe and hurried down the street. The wolf said nearest subway station which was about 2 blocks away, the suitcase was pretty heavy he wondered what could be inside.[/i]

((Im starting to run out of ideas mind helping?))

(Depends. Was that wolf really from the FBI, and what's in the suitcase? I have a few ideas, but I'd like to know if you had anything in mind about them.)

Vaughan and Conrad waited until Leonal got to the door, then left cash on the table as they got up themselves. Casually, the wlked to the white sedan they'd paked on the street and got in.
The car is worth a description. In a previous life, it was a '95 Lincoln Grand Marquis. Vaughan's brother Morrissey had gotten hold of it several years ago, and had stocked more full of gadgets than James Bond's Aston Martin.
They followed Leonal, Vaughan driving, Conrad checking the various sensors used for their work to see if Leonal or his suitcase triggered them. It was unlikely, as they were designed to detect the Paranormal, but one never knew...
