Introduction to the Territory of the Ravens AKA Piriqui

The Territory of the Ravens is not a collective nation, though mostly controlled by the Avian. The current system of government is Tribalism, with many tribes found throughout the country. It has no official standing army, nor a standing navy. It geographically shares a continent with Yamaha. Similar to Earth's medieval Africa.

"Piriqui" is the name that is most often used by the natives for the land, while the name "Territory of the Ravens" is usually only used by foreigners and immigrants.

Aging Note: Skin Avian have a genetic resistance to showing signs of aging, such as the general decadence of the outer body. However, there is still some noticeable pigment loss over the years, such as in the hair and feathers. The skin may also become paler. Most Beaked Avian do not show this same trait, though, a rare few do.

Following this paragraph are charted areas of the Territory of the Ravens. While you can do what you please in your role-playing, create and destroy any area that you wish, this information will not reflect on the chart.

The Territory of the Ravens Area Chart:

The Black Mountains - A dangerous mountain range that forms a physical border between the Territory of the Ravens and the Dynasty of Yamaha. The mountains are steep and mainly populated by Beaked Ones. The hard terrain makes this area a difficult location to cross by one without wings, and thus successfully separates most foot-travelers from passing its deadly border.

Scarborough - One of the very few semi-stable cities in the Territory first established by traders from other continents as a base for their activities within the treacherous regions. It is known for its yearly festival, Scarborogh Faire, that is one of the largest trading faires not only in the Territory, but also in the whole of Feila.
