Sigh. This is as bad as the mail blaming manhunt for the druggies stabbing. The article clearly reads that the man was deranged enough to find an act of extreme violence sexuallaly stimulating yet your all here going I can't believe it was a fur. Regretfully there are a lot of weird people on this planet. I'm sure we have several more fucktards in the 100,000 or so people who make up the fandom.

And I quote

It may have been a terrible thing to plot, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions that the man is a heartless bastard. Just sounds like he has some serious problems that he needs to work out. The internet and television can really warp a lot of otherwise normal people.

and Rabid is right, the interwebs damages people. As for the stereotyping yes it was very badly phrased. It probably should have read more like this. He was encouraged by a friend on a 'furry' erotica site where people rp erotic scenes as anthromoporthic animals.
