I ,sir , challenge you to a duel!

RisingPhoenix

A small red bird paced back and fourth in a burnt meadow. She wore a pair of goggles around her neck, a singed white shirt, and black trousers. A long sword with an angel winged guard hung around her waist. She mumbled to herself "Chicken? I am no Chicken. How dare he call me a chicken. I'll show him chicken." She stopped and flashed open her wings kicking up a gust of ashes. She opened her beak and shot out a pillar of flame into the ashes. The ashes died down and she began pacing again.

Lucas walked to the location the phoenix provided. "Eh...I think I shouldn't have called her chicken...", he mumbled. Some people can't take a joke, yes, but being playful and carefree would probaly get Lucas in a fight sooner or later. It didn't matter anyway...taking down this wolf would be really hard. He approached the burnt meadow and saw the phoenix. "Hey! I'm here", he yelled, holding his broadsword on his shoulder.

She spun around to see the wolf who called her chicken. "You came. I didnt think you would." She said and clicked her beak. She pulled the goggles from her neck to top of her head. "You Ready Wolfie?" she asked sarcastically and drew her sword and clicked her beak again.

Niyayme Ansphixian blinked as a pillar of flame erupted. That wasn't natural, at least, she was almost certain it wasn't. Niyayme wasn't the sort of skunk to know as she flinched the bright light highlighting her inverted fur coat perfectly as much as it showed off her two wings behind her.

The skunk was in the dress of the upper class her amber eyes shining the same colour as her pale yellow dress in the flame it's frill's and pearls shown for all it's peacock like splendour before the light source died off. Slowly walking (becuase jogging would be so undignified) Niyayme came upon the individual from whom it had origionated from.

Lowering her parasol she smiled looking at the bird curiously and ignoring the other wolf interupting. After all, the wolf looked like some commoner, and no some commoner was going to get in the way of Niyayme's curiousity. Or considering her ego at times, even her faveourite walk for which she had once burnt a house down to be able to continue "I say there commoner, what is the meaning of the fire works, they are very impressive," she says her voice definitly as upper class as her appearance as she fanned out her wings.

Lucas smiled. He really didn't like violence, but he treated this kind of fight as a friendly one. He assumed his battle stance and smirked at the phoenix. "Bring it, birdy!", he said, ready do defend any attack directed at him.

She pulled the goggles down over her green eyes. They took on a green tint. She smirked and flashed open her wings kicking up a cloud of ash. "You asked for it!" she yelled out. She pushed up off the ground and dove down at him, her sword raised.

Niyayme blinked. These two were odd. Why were they fighting? After all, it was just a field. A field, she corrected herself, with a rather large scorched section. Why was it worth fighting over? Why were they risking bodily harm with such opinions that it was 'fun'? It all made little sense to the skunk. Who, like every upperclassmand in history has done, took it out on those she thought lesser than her "Hey, you two, stop!" she shouted to them.

Lucas moved his upper part of the body a bit to the left, as if he was preparing to dodge. His sword was focused in his hands, in a defensive position. He was watching the phoenix very carefully, examining her movements. He ready to act fast at the right time.

She looked over at the little skunk in midflight,which threw her off balance. She landed and tumbled next to the wolf. She got up quickly and glared over at the skunk. Great, she thought, someone to ruin my battle. "Hey Kid! Who are you and what are you doing here?" she called over and clicked her beak.
