Check out this page for information on Google's HUGE caches. Save your stuff while you STILL CAN.

I need to go through this and bold everything that needs to be bolded, and redo the links, but other than that everything is exactly as it was before the hacking. I'm going to get the rest of my characters now, and you should do the same while the caches are still available. Remember, the caches won't last forever. Save stuff to your computer and/or repost it here while you still can.

Name: Olivier Emeric Girard (o-lee-veer eh-meh-rihk juh-rahrd)

"Well, you see, there's two Girard's that work here, so people just call me Olivier. The other Girard is my father, so he gets dibs by being a vieillard, I suppose."

Vieillard is French for an old man.

It is considered impolite to address a Domish person by their given name unless the addressee is a friend or family. In the workplace, male employees usually go by their surname while dropping the title of Monsieur.

Photograph of Fur Color Pattern in a Feral Meerkat

Much of the meerkat is covered in dull golden fur, the texture of which is rustic. His face is a dirty white, with black markings around his eyes and on the insides of his ears. His small nose is also black, as well as his claws. The white fur continues down the front of his neck, extending over the inner regions of his shoulders and scaling over the fronts of his arms. There is a patch of dark fur on his chest, infested with strands of more white. The patch is surrounded by white fur that further crawls down his body over his abdomen and on the insides of his thighs, ending at about the knees before starting up again at the heels and covering the feet. He has narrow, brown eyes, and his headfur has begun to gray.

On a health and fitness level, his body is in pretty good condition for his age. He is thin, but not lanky. His muscles are well toned, though, they are not bulky. The meerkat is able to stay in shape due to his tendency to be involved in physical activities, whether by personal desire or employment in manual labor. However, the strain on his body has given him neck and back problems, so he sees a chiropractor to help keep his skeletal structure in good order. He'd recommend a chiropractor over a dose of aspirin any day of the week. The only real complaints one might have of his health would come from a picky nutritionist due to his regular intake of junk food and beer.

Attire:

Olivier prefers plain, simple clothes. The meerkat is not a fan of bright colors, and would rather wear something that is dull and fades into the background. He can dress up if the occasion demands it, but he typically avoids doing so unless it's for a wedding or a funeral. He likes to wear brown, ankle-high boots for their durability and comfort.

Personality:

Olivier is what many people consider to be a "good guy". He's a hard worker, honest when it matters, and not a rat or a cheat. He doesn't steal, supports himself, and doesn't abuse his sick days. The meerkat is for the most part a rather level-headed fellow, and unless someone is being physically aggressive or otherwise dangerous, he refrains from using violence. He's a pretty complacent guy, not afraid to be laughed at when he's soaring the streets as a middle-aged man on a kid's hoverboard.

The meerkat has a strong sense of personal pride. While he wouldn't degrade another for appearing weak, he's not as soft on himself. For this reason among others, Olivier hates doctors and hospitals, spare his chiropractor who he tends to see as a "non-doctor type". It is therefore no surprise that he has a hard time accepting charity, and even if he was facing serious financial trouble, he would be ashamed to take someone else's help. He is considered very stubborn when it comes to any matter that he feels might place his pride in jeopardy.

Biography:

Olivier has had a very normal life. His childhood was uneventful, he swore he wouldn't marry until he was at least thirty, and then got talked into a ring after he'd barely left his teens -- Boom! Divorce. His kid is a delinquent and his ex-wife wishes he'd move to Edwin. Olivier currently resides with his brother in a small, rented house, the two of them sharing the costs of living.

The meerkat spends his time like any other average Jacques, bicycling to work in the morning and back home to have dinner in the evening. His hobbies are numerous, and he enjoys many things, of these being both physical and mental activities. He subscribes to magazines that do not end up at the bottom of bird cages. He can read a thesaurus with the same idle and rustic air of a comic book. He loves Cheese Danish, but hates Danish Cheese.

Olivier can often be found taking leisure walks, engaging in recreational sports, and kicking back with some buddies and a deck of cards. While not the most talkative person in the world, the meerkat can hold a lengthy conversation if the topic strikes him. He enjoys watching tennis games on the television, at the park, or at a stadium. He is interested in politics, yet is not politically active.

Relationships:

Father - Emeric Girard

Olivier has very much taken after his father in temperament and personality. While the two have their differences, there aren't a lot to count. They both enjoy many of the same things and as such have spent a lot of time together. As old age has taken away his youth, Emeric is understandably not as physical as he once was, though, still works at DuPont Woodworking Company alongside Olivier. He does woodwork despite having been offered a job in management.

Mother - Gwendoline Girard

Gwendoline is a good woman with a kind soul and a strong heart. In the tendency of most mothers, she raised her sons in an overprotective and worrisome way that was, thankfully, countered by her husband's more lenient nature. Olivier loves and respects her, and tried not to stress her out too much growing up -- But, as you know, boys will be boys. Now that her sons are older, she frets a lot less. Gwendoline is retired, but does volunteer work when she feels up to it.

Brother - Corin Girard

While not the definition of fiery, Corin is a good deal more hot-headed than his elder brother. Whereas Olivier usually has no problem keeping his lid on, Corin is more attracted to pointless arguments and petty fights. He's been divorced two times, and has a total of three children. His relationships with his ex-wives may be rather sour, but he tries his best to keep up good ties with his children, which is not always easy. Corin works, and shares a small rented house with his brother, the two finding it easier to afford the costs of living by relying on each other. The brothers have a good relationship, and do not usually come into any serious conflicts with one another.

Son - Raoul Girard

Raoul is Olivier's only child and son. He is sixteen-years-old and the result of Olivier's marriage with his ex-wife, Florence. While very different from his father, the two still share quite a few things in common. Olivier wishes that they were more alike, but in the end, supposes that it doesn't matter as long as they get along and spend time together. Much to Olivier's displeasure, Raoul only spends the weekend at his father's house and the rest of the week at his mother's. The teenager doesn't seem to mind this arrangement, either, missing his school friends when he's away. Raoul sometimes works when he wants to buy something expensive, but for the most part he is a lazy, unreliable punk who would much rather vandalize his neighbor's mailbox.

Ex-wife - Florence Desmarais

Florence is the thirty-six-year-old ex-wife of Olivier. She is the mother of Raoul, and takes care of Raoul most of the time -- When they're getting along, anyhow. This is due to the custody agreement that was approved of by the local court, favoring Raoul's mother because A. She's a woman and B. She's a woman. Florence filed for divorce from Olivier when Raoul was five, her reasons being that they simply had too many problems to live together. Of course, Olivier was cheating on her, but she never caught him and didn't overly suspect it. In temperament and personality, Florence is quite different from her ex-husband, being much more emotional and prone to confrontation. Olivier, being the exceptionally tolerant guy that he is, more or less faced a case of the Crazy Bitch Syndrome, and was screwed in the custody hearing. Florence and Olivier have a bitter relationship, and do not really like each other. She has since become remarried to a man who probably cheats on her more than Olivier did, but she seems happy anyway.
