"I what?" Padric said as he was pulled towards the clothing rack. He was rather confused; he had thought that the girls were here to get themselves new clothes. He hadn't realized that their plans included him too. He looked down at his own clothing, just a simple brown shirt and dark gray pants.
"What's wrong with my clothing?"

Gemini smiled and bleated "Nothing, but its fun to have options in what you'll wear." Veruka ,on the otherside of the rack, held up a hot pink shirt. "Nope, not his color." Gemini bleated and pushed her hand down. Gemini pulled out a pair of dark red baggy pants and a dark green shirt with a grey vest. Veruka poked her head through the rack and said "Perfect."

Padric breathed a sigh of relief when Gemini turned down the hot pink shirt. The next outfit was much better, although he wasn't too sure about those pants.
"These come in any other color?" He asked quietly, "I don't really want to look like a Yule tree."

Gemini nodded and bleated "I believe so." Veruka held up a pair of dark grey pants. "Yes they do." she said. Gemini hung back up the red pants and took the grey pants from Veruka. "Go try them on." Gemini bleated and pushed the clothes into his hands.

Padric sighed a little as he went to the little dressing booth. He wasn't really sure how he had been talked into doing this, but he was pretty sure arguing would get him nowhere.

Making sure the little booth door was locked, and that the girls weren't peeking as far as he could tell, he quickly disrobed, changing into the new clothing. It was fairly comfortable, that was a good sign. Opening the door to the little booth he walked out and over to the nearby mirrors to see how he looked.

Gemini walked up behind Padric. "That looks great on you." she bleated. Veruka walked over and said "Much better then what you were wearing before." Geminis attention was turned toward the front window. A large tiger in arena guard clothes was standing there looking back and fourth, thankfully, with his back to the window. "Guard, guard, guard." Gemini whispered and pulled Veruka and Padric to the floor.

Padric "ooof"ed as he hit the ground, not expecting the sudden tackle. Gemini's explanation was enough to bring him back to his senses though.

"Come on," he said, crawling towards the nearest wall. "You two hide behind the clothes rack, stay low." He figured that they could either go out the back door, or they could wait until the guard had moved on. Then a thought occurred to him.
"Don't worry miss, I'm still going to pay." he whispered to the confused looking clerk. "I'll pay you a little extra too, if you act like nothing's wrong"

The clerk nodded and went back to doing what she was doing. Gemini crawled over to a corner and pressed herself into it. She pulled a rack of clothes in front of her and peeked through them. Veruka did the sensible thing and crawled behind the front counter under the clerks feet. The guard turned around and and walked into the store. "May I help you?" the clerk asked.

Padric moved slowly and carefully along the wall behind the clothing rack, making sure to only move when the tiger was looking in a different direction. As he moved he reached for his knife, only to utter a silent curse as he realized it was back in the dressing room with his normal clothes.

He continued moving until he was right next to the dressing room; when the guard was looking away he quickly ducked into the little booth. Pulling his knife from it's sheath he peeked over the door checking to see where the guard was. he didn't want to do things this way, but he couldn't think of a better plan.

The tiger looked utterly confused, it was the lavander. Gemini felt bad for him. She scurried over to the dressing booths and whispered to Padric "Dont hurt him, hes confused, we could use that." The tiger looked sick as he stumbled up to the counter "Where am I?" he said before passing out on the floor.

Padric was a little confused; was this guy having an allergic reaction to the lavender? In any case this was their chance to get out of here. Walking cautiously up to the front counter he upt his knife away, careful not to step on the unconscious feline.
"Thank you so much." he said to the clerk setting a handful of gold coins on the counter. "Come on, Veruka, let's get out of here while the coast is clear" He looked down at the tiger, thinking. This fellow might not be traveling alone
"You wouldn't happen to have a back door we can leave by, would you?"

Gemini quickly ran out from the dressing booths. Veruka hopped up from the counter and ran after Padric. "Veruka, wait, help me with this." Gemini bleated and dropped down beside the tiger. Veruka came back "You gotta be kidding me." she said and grabbed the guards one hand and began to drag him out of the shop. Gemini grabbed his other hand and they both drug him out the back door.
